1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on the user's browser when they visit it. They fall into three main categories:

• Technical and security cookies — strictly necessary for the site to function. They do not require prior consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and Italian Data Protection Authority Guidelines).
• Analytics cookies — collect usage statistics. They require prior consent, unless configured with anonymization measures and no third-party sharing.
• Profiling and marketing cookies — allow user profiling for advertising purposes. They always require explicit consent.

2. Cookies used on timoai.xyz

2.1 Technical and security cookies (always active)

Necessary for the site to function. Not subject to prior consent.

• __cf_bm, cf_clearance (Cloudflare) — anti-bot protection, application firewall, rate limiting. Duration: session / 30 days.
• Session cookies (Timo) — authentication and session maintenance for users in the registered area. Duration: session.

2.2 Web traffic statistics (internal tool, no cookies)

Web traffic statistics are collected with an internal, self-hosted analytics tool on Timo infrastructure. This tool does not use cookies, does not track users across different sites, and collects only aggregate, anonymous data that cannot be traced back to individuals. The data stays on Timo infrastructure and is not shared with third parties.

Since there are no analytics cookies and no processing of identifying personal data, this collection does not require prior consent (lawful basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2.3 Marketing cookies

The timoai.xyz site does not install third-party marketing/profiling cookies. The category is declared and governed in the banner for transparency and for future integrations; at the moment it is refused by default and there are no cookies actually installed in this category.

2.4 No third-party profiling cookies already active

The site does not use:

• Facebook Pixel
• LinkedIn Insight Tag
• TikTok Pixel
• Twitter/X Pixel
• Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, FullStory or other session-recording tools
• Third-party advertising networks
• Affiliate cookies

3. No cookie consent banner

The timoai.xyz site uses only necessary technical cookies (section 2.1) and an internal statistics tool that installs no cookies. Under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Data Protection Authority Guidelines, technical cookies do not require prior consent: for this reason the site does not show a cookie consent banner and does not collect consent choices for tracking purposes.

There are no analytics or marketing cookie categories to accept or refuse. Users can still manage or delete technical cookies from their browser settings (section 4).

You can view and delete the technical cookies already installed, or block them, from your browser settings:

5. Cookies inside the Timo application

The Timo application (the authenticated area accessible after login) uses only session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. There are no analytics, profiling or third-party cookies inside the authenticated area.

6. Document language

The Italian version of this Cookie Policy prevails over any future translation (e.g. English) in case of interpretive discrepancy.

7. Changes

The version in force is always the one published at https://www.timoai.xyz/cookie/, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
